This 100% Counoise cuvée, vinified using traditional methods in stainless steel tanks, highlights the finesse of the fruit and the lightness of the tannins thanks to precise and controlled winemaking. Gentle pump-overs preserve the delicate aromas of the grape variety while maintaining a smooth texture. The wine's freshness is perfectly enhanced by the clay-limestone soils, contributing to a harmonious and elegant structure.

Our opinion on the vintage

From the first impression, the deep garnet color of this vintage immediately catches the eye. On the nose, aromas of candied cherry and sweet spices emerge. On the palate, the roundness and breadth of this Counoise unfold smoothly, offering an ethereal texture that gains intensity. The cherry and spice notes blend delicately, adding to the wine's complexity. The finish is surprising, with a slightly mischievous touch that gives way to an explosion of chocolatey and spicy cherry flavors, all while remaining fresh and refined.

These wines possess a kind of instinctive harmony, as if the many grape varieties of Minervois readily coexist. Carignan, Grenache, Cinsault: each contributes a nuance without overpowering the others. The white wines, though rarer, are surprising. The winemaking is straightforward, sometimes a little rough around the edges, but the overall impression is one of genuine sincerity. In short: highly drinkable.
