The Morogues cuvée is named after the village that forms the historic heart of Domaines Minchin and its vineyards. Made from Sauvignon Blanc, it directly reflects the identity of the terroirs in this part of Menetou-Salon, characterized by clay-limestone soils and Kimmeridgian marl.

Our Review of the Cuvée

The nose opens with aromas of fresh citrus, white peach, and white flowers, offering a lovely sense of purity.
On the palate, the attack is lively and precise, driven by a lemony freshness that lends the wine great vibrancy.
The body is delicate yet distinct, with a clean and balanced texture.
The finish, salty and lingering, highlights the minerality characteristic of the Morogues terroirs.

Minchin Estate

Minchin Estates

Loire | France

Located in Morogues, in the heart of the Menetou-Salon appellation, the La Tour Saint-Martin estate is the brainchild of Bertrand Minchin, who embarked on his winemaking journey in 1988, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, who had already been growing grapes on this land.

The vineyard now spans 17 hectares, planted primarily with Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, on the clay-limestone slopes and Kimmeridgian marl soils of Morogues. Here, work in the vineyard is at the heart of the estate’s philosophy: plowing, adding compost, controlling yields, and balancing vegetation growth all help to best reveal the identity of each plot.

Committed for many years to environmentally friendly viticulture, the estate is now certified organic. The winemaking process—precise and minimally interventionist—emphasizes the expression of the terroir and produces elegant, fresh, and particularly refined Menetou-Salon wines.

A signature feature that has become a staple of the Centre-Loire region, regularly praised
