Bourgogne Bouzeron 2024

Bouzeron | White | 2024

This Aligoté wine, grown on clay-limestone soils, benefits from organic viticulture and hand-harvesting. Direct pressing of whole bunches and fermentation in oak barrels impart a beautiful complexity. The use of indigenous yeasts and minimal added SO2 make it an authentic and environmentally conscious wine. Thanks to four months of aging, this wine reveals a pure expression of the Aligoté grape.

Our opinion on the vintage

On the nose, this Aligoté offers delicate aromas of green apple and white flowers, supported by subtle hazelnut notes from its aging in oak barrels. On the palate, the attack is lively and refreshing. The texture is fine, with a pleasant minerality from the clay-limestone soil. The flavors linger on a clean finish, creating a harmonious and elegant sensation. A perfect choice to accompany seafood or a selection of fresh cheeses.

Chapuis & Chapuis

Chapuis & Chapuis

Bourgogne | France

In Pommard, the Chapuis & Chapuis estate, run by two brothers, produces wines from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes sourced from local vineyards, both from their own vines and from a carefully selected network of négociants. This dual approach allows them to work with different origins while maintaining a constant focus on the quality of the raw materials.

The winemaking process relies on spontaneous fermentations and gentle extractions, with the aim of preserving the finesse of the textures and the clarity of the fruit. The red wines are distinguished by a fine texture, a clear expression of Pinot Noir, and a marked verticality, reminiscent of classic Burgundian interpretations, without striving for power.

The white wines maintain a clear tension, supported by perfectly ripe grapes and judicious aging. The estate's work as a whole prioritizes sincerity and precision, offering balanced wines built on finesse and coherence rather than stylistic
