Chapuis & Chapuis

The Extra-Brut bubble

Vin de France | White | NM

Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged on lees for 30 months, this Pinot Noir is distinguished by its finesse and complexity. Made from hand-harvested grapes and pressed directly as whole bunches, this wine skillfully combines tradition and expertise. The choice of aging in oak barrels gives this cuvée a balanced structure, while the clay-limestone soil of the vineyards lends it an elegant minerality.

Our opinion on the vintage

The first encounter with this wine begins with its captivating rose-gold hue. The nose is a veritable symphony of raspberry notes accompanied by aromas of dried fruit and a touch of spice that awakens the senses. On the palate, the texture is both intense and silky, revealing the full generosity of the Pinot Noir. The delicate and persistent bubbles provide a caressing and refined sensation, while the finish is enriched with spicy nuances, reinforcing the impression of depth and complexity of this vintage. Each sip invites you to rediscover this wine from a new perspective.

Chapuis & Chapuis

Chapuis & Chapuis

In Pommard, the Chapuis & Chapuis estate, run by two brothers, produces wines from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes sourced from local vineyards, both from their own vines and from a carefully selected network of négociants. This dual approach allows them to work with different origins while maintaining a constant focus on the quality of the raw materials.

The winemaking process relies on spontaneous fermentations and gentle extractions, with the aim of preserving the finesse of the textures and the clarity of the fruit. The red wines are distinguished by a fine texture, a clear expression of Pinot Noir, and a marked verticality, reminiscent of classic Burgundian interpretations, without striving for power.

The white wines maintain a clear tension, supported by perfectly ripe grapes and judicious aging. The estate's work as a whole prioritizes sincerity and precision, offering balanced wines built on finesse and coherence rather than stylistic
