Clos Troteligotte

K-Or 2021

Cahors | Red | 2021

Sourced from a single plot on the Cahors limestone plateaus, K-Or 2021 is a straightforward and expressive Malbec, crafted without pretense. Gentle, sulfite-free vinification allows the grapes and the soil to speak for themselves, while aging in concrete tanks refines the texture without masking the fruit. A sincere, intense yet accessible wine that combines depth and drinkability.

Our opinion on the vintage

The nose is clean and precise, driven by ripe black fruits, blackberry and blackcurrant, with a mineral and slightly spicy touch. On the palate, the attack is supple, the texture well-defined and silky, with fine, progressive tannins. The wine gains depth without heaviness, and the finish remains fresh, balanced, and true to the limestone terroir.

Clos Troteligotte

Jura | France

Located on the Causse de Cahors plateau, Clos Troteligotte covers approximately 19 hectares of vines planted at an altitude of nearly 350 meters, in the heart of a wooded environment. This geological diversity strongly shapes the wines' profiles and justifies a micro-parcel approach. The vines were planted starting in 1987, and the estate is now managed by Emmanuel Rybinski, who has continued and expanded upon the work begun by the previous generation.

The Malbec grape variety occupies a central place, complemented by Merlot, Tannat, and rarer varieties historically present in the Quercy region, such as Chenin Blanc and Jurançon Noir. In the vineyard, the estate implements ... Lire plus
