Vin de France | White | 2024

From the arid soils of the historic village of Oiron, this white wine is the fruit of meticulous work respecting the terroir, certified organic. The Chenin Blanc grapes are harvested late to obtain raisined fruit, guaranteeing a beautiful concentration of sugars with preserved acidity for a vibrant freshness. Aging takes place in a cellar with natural conditions, giving the wine a unique character.

Our opinion on the vintage

On the nose, this Chenin Blanc is distinguished by its vibrant notes of ripe citrus, followed by an exquisite tropical aroma of pineapple and mango. From the first sip, the subtle richness of the raisined grapes is expressed with surprising elegance. On the palate, the purity of the fruit is balanced by a beautiful acidic tension, which lingers in a refreshing finish, enhanced by subtle effervescence. This wine perfectly embodies the expression of its terroir, vibrant and authentic, inviting you to discover the full richness of Oiron wines.

On the "caillottes," it becomes livelier, straighter, with an almost sharp freshness. The maturation, sometimes in barrels, supports the wines without ever masking their origin, providing relief and a beautiful texture.

Céline and Benoit Blet also work with Pinot Noir, with the same pursuit of balance. The wines are fine, elegant, never marked by extraction, with ... Lire plus
