Vin de France | Blanc | 2024

Grown in the arid soils of the historic village of Oiron, this white wine is the result of meticulous work that respects the terroir and is certified organic. The Chenin grapes are harvested late to produce sun-dried grapes, ensuring a rich concentration of sugars while preserving the wine’s acidity for a vibrant freshness. The wine is aged in a cellar under natural conditions, giving it a unique character.

Our Review of the Cuvée

On the nose, this Chenin stands out for its vibrant notes of ripe citrus, followed by exquisite tropical aromas of pineapple and mango. From the very first sip, the subtle richness of the sun-dried grapes comes through with surprising elegance. On the palate, the purity of the fruit is balanced by a lovely acidity that lingers into a refreshing finish, enhanced by sparkling nuances. This wine perfectly embodies the expression of its terroir—vibrant and authentic—inviting you to discover the full richness of Oiron’s wines.

Aging, sometimes in barrels, enhances the wines without ever masking their origin, adding depth and a beautiful texture.

Céline and Benoit Blet also produce Pinot Noir, with the same focus on balance. The wines are refined and elegant, never marked by ... Read more
