This Pinot Noir comes from vines aged 35 to 50 years, situated on a stony, clay-limestone terroir at an altitude of 310 meters. The hand-harvesting and Burgundian winemaking techniques, without the addition of sulfur, demonstrate the meticulous care taken in its production. After a 30-day fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, resulting in a delicately balanced structure and an authentic expression of the terroir.

Our opinion on the vintage

This wine opens with a delicate nose reminiscent of red berries and subtle spices. On the palate, it reveals a silky texture and impressive complexity, with notes of cherry, raspberry, and a floral touch that linger pleasantly. Aging in oak barrels imparts well-integrated woody nuances and a long, harmonious finish. Each sip is an invitation to discover the richness of its terroir, underscored by an elegant palate and perfect balance. This Pinot Noir will pair beautifully with refined dishes.

Domaine Bonnardot

Bourgogne | France

Nestled in Villars-Fontaine, on the heights of the Côte de Nuits, Domaine Bonnardot is one of those discreet estates that craft wines of great sincerity, deeply rooted in their terroir. Here, altitude, natural freshness, and limestone soils lend the wines remarkable tension and precision, while retaining the typical generosity of Burgundy.

The Bonnardot family meticulously tends its vines, respecting natural balances and limiting yields to concentrate the expression of the grapes. The parcels, often well-exposed, allow for optimal ripeness while preserving a beautiful freshness. Pinot Noir reveals an elegant and luminous facet, while the whites offer a pure and mineral interpretation of Chardonnay.

In the cellar, winemaking is minimally interventionist: natural fermentations, gentle extractions, and careful aging that supports the wine without ever masking it. The result is honest, direct cuvées, characterized by great textural finesse. The reds ... Lire plus
