Domaine de Brin

Abracadabrin

Vin de France | Red | NM

Made with indigenous yeasts and benefiting from gentle extraction, this wine is aged for six months in tanks, preserving the full finesse of its aromas. Its low sulfite level allows the purity of its grape varieties—Braucol, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Duras—to be fully appreciated. Grown on a very stony, clay-limestone terroir, this wine offers a beautiful expression of its terroir.

Our opinion on the vintage

This wine captivates from the first sip with its complex aromatic bouquet, blending notes of red and black fruit with a hint of spice. On the palate, its silky texture envelops the mouth, revealing a balanced and harmonious structure. The Braucol, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Duras grape varieties complement each other beautifully, offering a depth and persistence that invites exploration of every flavor. The stony terroir is evident in a subtle minerality on the finish, adding another dimension to the whole. A wine to discover and savor.

Brin Estate

Domaine de Brin

In Gaillac, the Brin estate is run by Damien Bonnet, with particular attention paid to the region's historic grape varieties. Braucol, Duras, and Loin-de-l'Oeil are worked plot by plot, in order to highlight the differences in soil and the nuances specific to each origin.

The vineyard is managed using organic practices, promoting a clear expression of the fruit and natural balance. In the cellar, winemaking is carried out with precision and restraint, seeking to preserve the tension and suppleness of the wine rather than creating showy wines. Extractions are kept to a minimum, resulting in wines that are easy to understand and approachable.

The wines are distinguished by their straightforward structure, consistent energy, and a clearly defined Gaillac identity. All the cuvées display a beautiful coherence, built around balance, freshness, and a faithful expression of the Gaillac terroir.
