Chardon Marie 2020

Costières de Nîmes | Rouge | 2020

This premium cuvée is crafted from a selection of plots characterized by an abundance of rounded pebbles. The estate places particular emphasis on destemming and trellising, ensuring optimal leaf surface area. Vinification is meticulous, with two manual punch-downs per day and a long 30-day vatting period, lending this wine remarkable concentration and intensity. Syrah dominates here, with just a touch of Grenache to comply with the appellation.

The vineyard work is precise, attentive to natural rhythms, and guided by the lunar calendar.
