Our take on this vintage

This wine reveals an appealing nose, where the invigorating freshness of the Aligoté grape comes fully to the fore. From the very first sip, you’ll appreciate the delicacy of its bubbles, which caress the palate with elegance. The texture is light and airy, carried by a vibrant tension that lingers on the palate, inviting you to take the next sip. The balanced vinous character adds a pleasant depth without ever weighing down the senses. Perfect for those seeking a sparkling wine full of subtlety and finesse.

Chapuis & Chapuis

Chapuis & Chapuis

In Pommard, the Chapuis & Chapuis estate, run by two brothers, produces wines from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay made with locally sourced grapes, drawn from both their own vineyards and carefully selected wine merchants. This dual approach allows them to work with different terroirs while maintaining consistently high standards for the quality of their raw materials.

The winemaking process relies on spontaneous fermentation and gentle extraction, with the aim of preserving the wines’ delicate textures and the clarity of the fruit. The red wines are characterized by a fine-grained texture, a clear expression of Pinot Noir, and a distinct verticality, reminiscent of classic Burgundian styles, without a focus on power.

The white wines retain a distinct crispness, supported by perfectly timed ripeness and restrained aging. The estate’s entire approach prioritizes authenticity and precision, resulting in balanced wines built on finesse
