Our opinion on the vintage
The wine is a translucent, deep garnet. The nose is refined and profound, with aromas of candied black cherry and resinous-balsamic notes that transport you directly to Tuscany. The palate is ample and ethereal, with a very fine, delicate texture that caresses the entire palate, but it is the freshness and purity of the fruit that are most impressive. It is absolutely stunning, yet deceptively simple. The finish not only manages to maintain the magic but enhances it even further, adding an extra layer of freshness and depth with notes of cherry, cocoa, juniper berry, and cubeb pepper.
Thomas Finot

A forgotten grape variety can transform a landscape: this is what Thomas Finot has proven by reviving Verdesse and Etraire de la Dhuy in the foothills of the Isère mountains. His wines possess a precision, almost crystalline quality, without ever becoming austere. Freshness comes naturally, as if flowing from the nearby mountain. The reds unfold gracefully, the whites oscillate between tension and quiet maturity. A patient revival that has yielded remarkable results.
