Champagne Grand Cru Vintage 2014 Piper-Heidsieck - Avec étui 150cl
Champagne | Blanc |
The 2014 Vintage is a vintage Champagne produced only in years deemed sufficiently exceptional by Piper-Heidsieck. This cuvée blends 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay from 19 crus, 87% of which are Grands Crus and Premiers Crus.
The 2014 vintage, marked by a cool summer followed by a particularly sunny September, preserved remarkable freshness while achieving beautiful ripeness. After fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and complete malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged on its lees for more than five years, followed by at least 12 months after disgorgement. A collector’s cuvée that perfectly illustrates the balance Piper-Heidsieck seeks between freshness, depth, and elegance.

Our Review of the Cuvée
The nose opens with a refined bouquet of orange blossom, apricot, and yellow fruits, complemented by notes of brioche and toasted almond. On the palate, the attack is fresh and precise, driven by aromas of mandarin and lime zest. The wine gradually gains body, with a silky texture and lovely depth. A delicate hint of licorice adds dimension to the overall profile, while the freshness maintains a sense of great elegance. The long, lingering finish combines citrus, toasty notes, and a subtle minerality.

Piper-Heidsieck House
Champagne | France
Founded in Reims in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck, Piper-Heidsieck is one of Champagne’s great historic houses. From its very beginnings, it has been distinguished by a bold ambition: to craft elegant, full-bodied champagnes capable of captivating the great European courts. Today, the House carries on this legacy while embracing a resolutely contemporary approach, led by its Cellar Master, Émilien Boutillat. His style is rooted in the art of blending, drawing on a selection of crus and wines to create precise and balanced cuvées. Committed to more sustainable viticulture, Piper-Heidsieck is B Corp certified and works to reduce its environmental footprint. An iconic House that combines nearly 250 years of history, innovation, and a constant pursuit of excellence.
