Our opinion on the vintage

The first encounter with "Pet'Night" is through its pale gold color and delicate stream of bubbles. The nose opens with an expressive bouquet of roasted white fruits, warm brioche, and a mineral note of damp chalk. On the palate, its roundness and ample texture are surprising, enlivened by a myriad of sparkling bubbles. The aromatics seduce with their intensity and luscious flavors, while the finish offers a harmonious combination of citrus and green apple with a touch of spice and salinity. A wine that enchants with its freshness and complexity.

Domaine Amirault, le Clos des Quarterons

Domaine Amirault, le Clos des Quarterons

Loire | France

Located in Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Clos des Quarterons is a family estate rooted in the region for over 180 years. Today, it is run by Xavier Amirault and his wife Agnès, who cultivate approximately 30 hectares of vines within the strictly delimited area of the appellation.

The vineyard benefits from a particularly favorable environment: a forest to the north protects the plots from cold winds, while the south-facing slopes offer consistent sunshine. The soils are highly diverse, combining gravel, tuffeau outcropping directly into the limestone, and deeper areas predominantly clay. This geological variety necessitates precise plot-by-plot management.

The estate is managed using organic farming methods, complemented by a progressively integrated biodynamic approach, with particular attention paid to vine observation and soil health. Vinification is carried out plot by plot to preserve the specific characteristics of each terroir.

The aging process takes place partly in a cellar carved into the tuffeau
