Bourgogne AOP

Burgundy AOP is Burgundy’s entry-level regional appellation. Red wines made from Pinot Noir and white wines made from Chardonnay are both produced under this appellation, and some of the region’s top estates occasionally produce real gems here.

A well-made red Burgundy offers aromas of cherry, raspberry, and mild spices, with a light, silky texture on the palate. A quality white Burgundy reveals the minerality and freshness characteristic of Burgundian Chardonnay, at an affordable price.
