Everything You Need to Know About Vins Étonnants

Vins Étonnants is evolving and is now known as Les Grappes. You’ve come to the right place: on this page, you’ll find all the wines that have defined the identity of Vins Étonnants.

Vins Étonnants was built around a simple idea: to champion authentic, vibrant wines crafted by dedicated winemakers. Over the years, the site has become a go-to resource for lovers of natural wines and independent wineries, thanks to a carefully curated selection that is sometimes bold but always consistent.

Every bottle on offer had a reason for being there. Behind each vintage lay artisanal craftsmanship, a vision, a terroir, and a statement. Vins Étonnants has never sought to follow trends, but rather to highlight distinctive personalities, unique approaches, and wines that tell a story.

The editorial identity also played a central role. Talking about wine with seriousness, without taking ourselves too seriously. Remaining discerning without becoming inaccessible. Combining precision, educational value, and a lighthearted touch. It is this voice that has shaped the site’s unique character.

By joining Les Grappes, Vins Étonnants is becoming part of a larger initiative while retaining its unique identity. Here you’ll find the classic selection, exclusive allocations, sought-after estates, favorites, and new discoveries that have built the site’s reputation.

Thanks to these developments, we are now able to offer an enhanced experience, an expanded selection, and even greater exposure for our winemakers. Our goal remains the same: to offer wines that are meaningful, full of character, and have a true identity.

Vins Étonnants continues its journey, simply under a new name. And the spirit that made you fall in love with these wines is still very much alive.
